In August 2007 work began on developing a replacement for the Jobmine system, Co-op & Career Services' (CECS) information system used to support the co-op employment process. The project scope outlined a software system to be developed "from the ground up", that would address immediate revision and changes requirements in Jobmine, and provide a platform to support development of new tools for the new business processes being developed in CECS. IST created a new IS group, the Special Projects Group, to create the initial version of the sofware.

Trevor Grove is a staff member in the Special Projects Group. He will outline the project in more detail and highlight some of the technical framework that is being developed. [Note that this talk will present material from the similarly-named WatITIS 2008 by Grove & Suerich.]
